On Land

Surrounded by an 18,000 acre nature preserve that contains mangroves and various natural ponds and lagoons, Amanyara is engulfed by the untouched and secluded landscapes of the Turks & Caicos.

The rich underwater fauna and untouched white-sand beaches support a shorebird population that includes Osprey, Oystercatchers, various Egret types, multiple species of Heron, and the national bird, the Brown Pelican. The Greater Flamingo can be seen fishing for shrimp in the flats all over the Turks & Caicos. 170 species of birds can be found on the islands including a plethora of hummingbirds that flutter around the Villas at Amanyara.
